Golf Tip of the Day!

If you know how to explode the ball out of a bunker, you can use the same type of shot from heavy rough near the green.  Open your stance a little and keep your weight on your front foot.  Open the clubface and point the lead edge of the club toward the hole.  Swing back outside of your target line and come down and through the grass as if you were hitting out of sand.  Your club should enter the grass behind the ball and slide under it as in a bunker.  Be aggressive with your swing as it will take some speed to cut through heavy rough.
