The Golf Club at Yankee Trace The 27 holes at Yankee Trace offer a variety of play. The two older sides, Heritage and Legend, housed the Dayton Open on the Nationwide Tour. So obviously, they are designed in championship style. They are a little longer than the newer Vintage side. All three 9-holes are pretty straight forward. There aren’t really any blind shots, and the hazards don’t come into play too much. The fairways are wide and have big landing areas if the player looks in the right place. The greens are a moderate speed. They are never too fast and never too slow. In summation, Yankee Trace is a player-friendly course that offers some interesting challenges.
