Windy Knoll Golf Club is the best example of links style golf in the Dayton, Ohio area.  The 18-hole golf course features wide open spaces, heather, and plenty of bunkers to make the journey more difficult.

Originally a horse farm, the golf course keeps a lot of those qualities to create a very interesting experience.  Like with any good links style course, Windy Knolls has very big fairways that give a lot of room for error.

There are a couple of fun holes, like a drivable par 4 on number eight.  The course gets more interesting on the back when a couple of holes introduce a pond that comes into play quite often.  The greens are great and pose no serious problem.
