Shaker Run Golf Club
Lebanon, Ohio

Shaker Run Golf Club may arguably be the most “championship ready” course in southern Ohio.  It  offers 27 holes of challenging play.  Lakeside and Woodlands meander through woods, water hazards, and stunning hills that frustrate and invigorate players.  Meadows, on the other hand, is a straight-forward Links style course with open fairways and limited trouble.

What Lakeside and Woodlands lack in distance (since Meadows is longer), they make up in hazards and trouble.  Both sides are loaded with sand bunkers, creeks, and tucked greens.  This championship course keeps you on your toes the whole time.  However, you’ll never get too frustrated with your round because the course itself is beautiful.

Meadows is a more beginner-friendly course.  Although a little bit longer than the other two courses, it has much less trouble.  The only real trouble on the course comes on its two par-3s.  Each houses a small pond instead of a fairway between the tee and the green.

The greens are very large at Shaker.  While large greens may be good for hitting greens in regulation, they are troublesome for two-putts.  But the greens are fast enough so that it’s no problem to get your ball to the hole.  To learn more, visit Shaker Run Golf Club.
