NCR Country Club
Dayton, Ohio

Host to four past National Championships, including a PGA Championship, a US Women’s Open, and a US Seniors Open, NCR Country Club is Dayton, Ohio’s most famous country club.  The two 18-hole courses (the North and the South courses) offer two different kinds of play for two different levels of golfers.

The South Course is the more renowned of the two.  It’s in the traditional country club format.  Tight fairways lined by annoying tree lines often get the better of golfers.  Once out of the fairways, the ridiculously fast greens offer no comfort.  It is completely necessary to be below the hole on this course.  Almost all of the greens on this 18 feature strong undulations and multiple tiers.

The North Course is a lot more open than the South Course and doesn’t play quite as long.  The par 4s are much shorter.  Fortunately, the greens on the North Course aren’t nearly as hilly as those on the South Course.  Additionally, without the strict, unforgiving tree lines like the South Course, the North Course is a lot friendlier.

With a great club house, a pool, and exercise facilities, NCR is one of the best choices as far as private clubs are concerned.  For more information, visit NCR Country Club.
