Moss Creek Golf Club
Clayton, Ohio

Moss Creek is a public golf course that offers great and challenging golf.  One of the longer courses in the area, the championship tees come in around 7200 yards.  However, Moss Creek does offer tees for all skill levels.

The first couple of holes on each side of the eighteen play like links-style golf.  The only real trouble on these holes is heather and the many bunkers.  However, holes six through nine and thirteen through eighteen offer some new challenges.  Ponds, creeks, and woods make these holes more challenging and more about placement rather than length off of the tee.

Eighteen is probably the signature hole on this course.  From the back tees, it plays almost 600 yards and features two fairways that are split down the middle by a creek.  This split offers one of the most interesting choices you’ll ever come across in golf.  Which fairway do you play?

The greens are kept in great shape.  They can sometimes be firm but for the most part, they hold nicely and roll true.

Make sure to buy something to drink at the clubhouse before you play though; this course doesn’t have any drinking water.  To learn more, visit Moss Creek.
