Greenville Country Club
Greenville, Ohio

Greenville Country Club located in rural southwest Ohio is a great course reminiscent of old-style country club golf.  Tight fairways lined by walls of trees are the main challenge at this course.

The two nines complement each other nicely.  While the front side is mostly flat, the back side has hills galore, making distances more difficult to judge.  The tight fairways on both sides make the player seriously think about leaving the driver in the bag.  In fact, the driver is hardly needed considering that the course plays less than 6500 from the back tees.

The greens here are kept in great condition but don’t post much of a threat.  They are pretty easy to read and are a moderate speed.  They also hold well so pin-seeking is most often the way to go.  There are few sand bunkers and then mostly by the greens.

This is a great course.  While it may be short, this shortness should not be mistaken for easiness.  This course can still challenge even the best of players.  To learn more, visit Greenville Country Club.
