Fairfield Greens South Golf Course Fairfield Greens is a city owned public golf attraction. The South Course is its par 70 championship course. The main threats here are four ponds (placed strategically throughout the course) and bunkers. Luckily, the four ponds only come into play on a hole each, making most holes rather simple. There are some pesky tree lines on some holes. Number 8, for example, features an intimidating tree line to the right of a fairway that slopes towards the out of bounds on the left. The course attempts to trick the player up off of the tee. Some of the tee boxes aim in odd directions or are placed in odd directions so that your tee shot is more likely to land in trouble. The simple remedy to this problem is to find a target off in the distance and just focus on that. The greens aren’t that difficult but aren’t terribly slow either. They are the kind of greens that are well suited for juniors or beginners. Find out more information, at Fairfield Greens. |
