Author Carl Hiaasen, played golf as a child with his father.  After 32 years he takes it up again.  His wife and young son also become interested.

The book is about the author's struggles with his emotions, his swing, new equipment, and golf lessons.  He finds himself in a similar relationship with his young son that he had with his father many years ago.  A good read for anyone learning the game with a family member.
